Beginners
Tackle choice, set up and safety. Roll casts, jump roll casts, single and double Spey and snap C casts from left and right banks of river using shooting heads or clients’ own lines. Basic overhead casts and casting in windy conditions as well as rivercraft and wading.
Improvers/Intermediate
Improvement of all basic casting techniques. Improving distance, mending line and sunk line techniques.
Advanced
Snake roll, Snap T casts and distance Spey casting. Skagit style casting and the use of full Spey lines.Tuition and advice to potential instructors.
